2023年11月23日(木) より、doinel 常設スペースにて、陶作家 鈴木喬子（すずききょうこ）さんのポップアップイベントを開催いたします。
キノコの独特なフォルムや曖昧で自由な存在に魅了されているという喬子さん。様々な色や質感の釉薬を操り、独自の陶作品を制作しています。キノコから誘発されて広がる自在な色使いのテクスチャーは、凝ったパターンを組み合わせたパッチワークのようでもあり、テキスタイルデザイナーとしての経験やバランス感覚も感じ取ることができます。
今回のポップアップイベントでは Mushroom Picking / キノコ狩りをイメージして、テーブル上に色とりどりの小ぶりの陶のキノコ作品が並びます。コンパクトなサイズの中にも様々な質感や表情が組み合わされた楽しいキノコ。どこキノコを摘んで帰ろうかと、きっと悩むはずです。
現実と想像の境が曖昧なキノコというフォーマットの上で、質感と色彩の可能性を繰り広げる喬子さんの作品。シンプルな視覚の喜びを感じていただけることでしょう。それぞれの部屋や空間で、壁やテーブルなどの素材との組み合わせも楽しみなオブジェです。
